James Lanwarne has over 15 years Industry Experience and is pleased to provide this specialist consultancy service to domestic and commercial clients.

The service is tailor made to the client’s needs and includes site assessment, reviewing key areas of interest and providing a detailed written report, which will include construction specifications, recommended solutions, estimated costs and potential design and planting ideas as required.

Having gained the Trustmark Accreditation through Hertfordshire Trading Standards for our Landscape construction, clients can be assured that they will receive impartial advice from an Industry expert on best practice, solutions and ideas on any landscaping matters.

Clients are not obligated to use our construction services, as the information can be used to obtain accurate quotations from contractors and to ensure areas are constructed to the right specification.


Our consultancy service covers all aspects of hard and soft landscaping including:

1. Structural concerns such as cracking walls, sunken paving, woodwork or lawn areas.

2. Drainage and irrigation solutions including Sustainable Urban drainage Systems.

3. Planting solutions and ideas including current soil conditions and improvement.


The Company will also provide precise specifications for the implementation of proposed structures, planting and design plans.

This can be for the domestic client or professional designer and can also include product and material sources and suggestions.

The services are charged at £36 per hour including Vat, which applies to travel time, site visits, the written report and all associated materials.
